It is with great pleasure and a strong sense of purpose that I welcome you to the British International School Cabo Verde (BISCV)—the country’s first formal English-medium school, its first British international school, and the first to offer the Cambridge International curriculum.

To ensure a truly personalised educational experience, our class sizes are intentionally kept small, allowing for meaningful teacher–pupil engagement and the careful nurturing of each child’s strengths. We currently offer provision for Early Years Foundation and Primary pupils, with our Middle School scheduled to open in September 2027.

Located in the unique beachfront setting of Palmarejo Baixo, Praia BISCV provides an inspiring environment in which pupils are encouraged not only to achieve academically, but to develop confidence, independence, and a global perspective. Our guiding motto, Aut inveniam viam aut faciam—“I will either find a way or make one”—captures the spirit of determination and initiative that we seek to instil in every pupil.
